Analysis of Five Common Malfunctions in Laser Marking Machines: When a laser marking machine encounters a problem, if the problem cannot be solved in a timely manner, it will affect the delivery time of the product. Although the maintenance of a laser marking machine is quite troublesome, its principle is relatively simple. There are many problems that can be solved by oneself without the need for professional technicians to repair them. Below are the five common malfunctions of a laser marking machine.

1. The identification pattern of the laser marking machine is partially unclear

Solution: Check if the thickness of the molded plate is uniform, if the molding pressure is too low, if the temperature is too low, and if the machine accuracy has decreased.

Key points of process control: The thickness error of the molded plate should be controlled within 0.001mm, and the hardness should be maintained at 230-280N/mm. Because holograms are produced by applying a certain pressure to the embossing roller to mold interference fringes, if the hardness of the embossing plate is not sufficient, internal stress during the embossing process can cause deformation or damage to the embossing plate.

2. The identification pattern of the laser marking machine is dull and lackluster

Solution: Check if the heating temperature is too low and if the molding pressure has decreased.

Key points of process control: The setting of molding pressure should comprehensively consider the molding temperature, the type of holographic material, or the softening point of the coating layer of the molded plate. Excessive pressure can damage the molded version or crush the holographic material; The pressure is too low, and the molded image is unclear and incomplete; For the circular pressing method, the initial pressure of the pressure rollers on both sides is generally around 0.08 MPa; After the molding process begins, gradually increase the pressure of the pressure roller evenly to 030-0.50MPa. The molding speed can be adjusted comprehensively based on the quality of the embossing and the performance of the machine.

3. The identification pattern of the laser marking machine turns white

Solution: Check if the molding speed is too slow and if the molding temperature is too high.

4. Labeling film adhesive plate for laser marking machine

Reason for occurrence: If the hot pressing temperature is higher than the degradation temperature, the viscosity of the coating will increase, causing sticking of the plate and causing the film to wrap around the holographic embossing roller.

Solution: Reduce the hot pressing temperature.

5. The identification pattern of the laser marking machine is clear one by one and blurry the other

Reason for occurrence: Uneven temperature distribution of the hot pressing device or unevenness of the molded plate.
